Does My Cosmetic Tattooist Need To Be Licenced?

ABSOLUTELY!!! You may think that one little piece of paper doesn't mean that much...you may think...
["I've looked at their before & after photos and like what I see; so I'll just go there]
And you may be lucky; you may have a perfect experience; HOWEVER...
What you may not know is that every individual cosmetic tattoo artist is obligated to to have their own 'Personal Appearance Services Licence' approved with their local council PRIOR to performing any cosmetic tattoo treatments.
This licence also needs to be clearly visible in the clinic for you [the client] to check at any time.
This means the council has to inspect the premise to ensure it is correctly setup in the most hygienic layout and with the appropriate equipment. It also means that your artist has completed the required training accreditation to perform the treatments you are requesting (yes there are many non-accredited courses!)
This licence also needs to be clearly visible in the clinic for you [the client] to check at any time.
This is also not a 'once off' licence; therefore the date on the certificate needs to be current; as it is re-approved annually!
What this means for YOU?
This is ALL of the HIGHEST IMPORTANCE as it means you are in the safest hands possible and your artist has not cut corners in order to have your business. If you request to see this licence and they cannot simply point it out on the wall; or worse; not even provide it... our advice... WALK OUT!
We take our clients safety as our number one priority and we are fully licenced and approved for all the treatments we provide!
